Launch a lucrative career you're passionate about right out of college or university!

Contrary to popular belief, people who are passionate about their careers don't sacrifice making money. They are actually among the highest income earners, love what they do, lead people, and make impact in their organizations.

Passion Coaching is a teen life coaching service in Los Altos, CA started by Teen Passion Coaches, Paul Thiebaut III and Mariamne Borden. We guide high schoolers in finding passion and purpose for their daily lives and futures by using motivation and learning to test out their commitment levels to doing things they love.

We created Passion For College (P4C) Method to relieve some of the achievement pressures on high schoolers and their parents by teaching students how to apply their passions in the real world and then how to use college to move toward lucrative careers that build on their passions.

This gives students a bigger, more intrinsic, and more personalized purpose for college that fills them with intrinsic motivation to move toward college and career. This intrinsic drive that P4C builds in students is the same intrinsic drive that professionals in the workforce exhibit when they are passionate about their careers. These people, called Passionate Workers, "turn out to be overrepresented in higher-income brackets.” (Passion At Work, Deloitte University)

P4C METHOD

P4C...

...teaches high schoolers how to reflect on, identify, and connect their passions to their college and career aspirations. The purpose of P4C is to prepare high schoolers how to launch lucrative careers they are passionate about right out of college or university!

P4C is taught in a private coaching or class format in 4 stages...

High schooler brainstorming a short story

[Stage 1] Reflect on Passions

In stage 1, students take a Passion Inventory with their Passion Coach that gives them self-awareness of their passions and patterns in their passions. Students organize their passions in a Motivation Table.

[Stage 2] Identify Passions

In stage 2, students use their Motivation Table to create Passion Challenges (PCs) with their Passion Coach. PCs enable students to test out new skills related to their passions, uncover intersections of their passions and strengths, and identify passions they are committed to.

Outcomes

High schooler researching architectural careers

[Stage 3] Connect Passions to Careers

P4C Transformation Story...

(Private coaching package - see Services Offered section below)

9th grader, St. Francis High School, Los Altos

"Passion Coaching helped me discover what I want to do in the future. I originally wanted to just do art. I didn't have any goals. I didn't know what type of job I wanted to do. I didn't know what type of art I wanted to do. I just knew I liked to draw and do art. Through analyzing my strengths and weaknesses, what I like and don't like to do, we figured out that I want to become a concept artist.

Now, I'm signed up for more technical training and am researching colleges that support concept art. The coming years of high school will be less stressful and busy because now I know what I want to be."
